Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 innovation strategy aligning with emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead discovery workshops to identify and validate high-impact opportunities across industries
- Design prototyping frameworks for next-gen products with 18-24 month commercialization horizons
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and integrate disruptive startups
- Present strategic roadmaps to board members and executive stakeholders
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor internal teams in foresight methodologies and agile innovation processes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record launching products/services with 3+ years market impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex visions
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Experience scaling innovation teams in Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Certification in Design Thinking, Lean Startup, or Strategic Foresight
