Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026+ strategic foresight framework through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and scale breakthrough solutions
- Partner with R&D to identify exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) for commercialization
- Design and execute scenario-planning workshops for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and manage an external ecosystem of futurists, academics, and startup founders
- Translate complex futures insights into actionable product roadmaps and investment theses
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations on industry disruption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500/tech unicorns
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Proven track record of launching ventures or products from concept to market
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- MBA or advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field
- Experience with futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures work or innovation case studies
