Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscape
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision and market disruption opportunities
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and engineering teams to translate foresight into actionable plans
- Champion human-centered design principles while integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech innovations
- Present future scenarios and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build and nurture an internal innovation ecosystem through mentorship and strategic partnerships
- Measure and report on innovation KPIs and ROI of future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in innovation strategy, futurism, or technology consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for disruptive technologies
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Exceptional facilitation skills with experience leading executive workshops and scenario planning
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field required
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (whitepapers, journals, conferences)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning, causal layered analysis)
- Experience building innovation labs or corporate venture arms preferred
