Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify emerging trends across tech, climate, and societal shifts
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product innovation and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Present compelling futures scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on future trajectories
- Champion innovation culture by mentoring teams in adaptive thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Experience advising Fortune 500 or global enterprises on future strategy
