Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026-2030 strategic foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for emerging market opportunities and disruptive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership with quantifiable impact assessments
- Establish and nurture partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry think tanks
- Design and implement innovation governance frameworks to ensure strategic alignment across business units
- Produce annual "Future State" reports and thought leadership content positioning the company as an industry visionary
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist roles with proven 2020+ impact
- Expertise in trend forecasting, systems thinking, and scenario development methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal megatrends
- Track record of translating foresight into successful commercial initiatives or product roadmaps
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in strategic foresight, business innovation, or related field preferred
