Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify breakthrough technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 3-5 year strategic impact
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligning with 2026 business objectives and market disruption predictions
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype next-gen products and services
- Deliver executive briefings on future trends, risks, and opportunities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation ecosystems
- Quantify future market opportunities through scenario modeling and data-driven foresight
- Mentor innovation teams in adaptive strategy and future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technology domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Executive presence with C-level stakeholder management experience
- Published research or thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Advanced degree in technology, business, or futures studies
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools and scenario planning methodologies
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives in enterprise environments
