Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Horizon Reports' analyzing technological, social, and economic megatrends
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive innovations (quantum computing, bioengineering, AI ethics)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with future trajectories
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present future intelligence to executive leadership and board committees
- Monitor emerging signals from 15+ industry verticals to identify inflection points
- Build and maintain a 'Future Impact Dashboard' using predictive analytics
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Expertise in systems thinking, trend analysis, and scenario development methodologies
- Proven track record advising C-suite on technology disruption
- Strong command of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and AI forecasting models
- Deep understanding of 2026-relevant domains: Web4.0, climate tech, neuro interfaces
