Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data from quantum computing, biotech, and AI to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation aligned with 2030 societal and technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to translate future scenarios into executable plans
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces that position our company as the future's compass
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Champion ethical frameworks for emerging technologies including neurotech and climate engineering
- Present future scenarios to investors and board members to secure strategic funding
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field with 8+ years in strategic foresight
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum applications, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex scenarios to diverse audiences
- Experience leading innovation labs or corporate strategy teams
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals or top-tier tech publications
- Mastery of foresight methodologies including Delphi, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three implemented future-strategy initiatives
