Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (quantum computing, biotech convergence, metaverse economics) to forecast 2026 industry shifts
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for clients in finance, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Produce thought leadership reports published in MIT Tech Review and Future Today Institute
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype next-gen human-AI interfaces
- Advocate ethical innovation frameworks for autonomous systems deployment
- Build proprietary trend-tracking algorithms using NLP and predictive modeling
Qualifications
- MSc/PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 5+ years experience
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or trend analysis (2020-2023)
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEPLE, weak signal analysis)
- Proficiency in Python/R for trend modeling and data visualization (Tableau/Power BI)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Experience advising C-suite on strategic pivots during technological inflection points
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (ACF or APF preferred)
- Published author or conference speaker at Singularity University or World Future Society
