Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their disruptive potential for 2026+
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for 5-10 year horizon planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-vision priorities
- Produce foresight reports and whitepapers published in industry journals
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into current roadmaps
- Establish global network of futurists, academics, and innovation scouts
- Represent Horizon Labs at Davos, TED, and other future-focused forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategies
- Expertise in systems thinking, exponential technology analysis, and scenario planning
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or MBA with specialization
- Published thought leadership on AI ethics, climate tech, or biotech disruption
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, STEEP analysis)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures to diverse audiences
