Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and venture capital teams
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports predicting technological inflection points
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen autonomous systems and neural interfaces
- Curate global tech foresight summits featuring industry disruptors
- Secure $50M+ in R&D grants for sustainable technology initiatives
- Mentor emerging futurists through our 'Tomorrow Leaders' program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale startups
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurism journals (e.g., 'Futures', 'Technological Forecasting')
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI safety, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (min. 3 IPOs/exits)
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent thought leadership
- Security clearance for national innovation initiatives (preferred)
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Gigerenzer's fast-and-frugal heuristics)
