Responsibilities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic systems)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations and competitive threats
- Translate complex technical concepts into executive-level strategic frameworks
- Partner with product teams to commercialize breakthrough technologies
- Author thought leadership publications on technology evolution trajectories
- Advocate ethical innovation practices in high-impact domains
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years experience in R&D or technology strategy at Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products or services
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Proficiency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation funding
