Responsibilities
- Lead research initiatives in emerging technologies including quantum computing, neural interfaces, and synthetic biology
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026 technology adoption across healthcare, energy, and transportation sectors
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford researchers to prototype breakthrough innovations
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members for strategic decision-making
- Manage a $5M innovation budget with cross-functional teams of engineers and data scientists
- Drive patent development for proprietary technologies with our legal team
- Represent the company at Davos, CES, and World Economic Forum events
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Biotechnology, or Engineering with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record launching technologies with $100M+ market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, or carbon capture systems
- Experience securing government grants and venture capital for R&D projects
- Published research in Nature, Science, or IEEE journals
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and emerging tech frameworks
- Strong network connections with DARPA, NASA, and international research institutions
