- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology) for strategic integration
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify and evaluate disruptive startups for acquisition
- Deliver quarterly trend briefings to executive team and board members
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers, conference keynotes, and industry publications
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ years in futurism or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of commercializing next-gen technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Deep understanding of Singularity University principles and exponential technology frameworks
- Exceptional scenario planning capabilities with demonstrated business impact
- Strong network within DARPA, IEEE, and global innovation ecosystems
- Published author or keynote speaker on future technology topics
- Experience scaling tech organizations through paradigm shifts
