Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for clients in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology sectors
- Analyze emerging trends (Web4.0, Neural Interfaces, Climate Tech) to identify commercial opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state technology adoption
- Author thought leadership reports published in journals like Nature Futures and MIT Tech Review
- Advocate ethical AI deployment frameworks and sustainable tech integration strategies
- Mentor junior futurists on scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- 5+ years in strategic tech roles at FAANG or equivalent innovation-driven organizations
- Published research on exponential technologies or peer-reviewed futurist methodologies
- Proficiency in foresight tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing principles and generative AI limitations
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for C-suite audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-state technology implementations
