Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration, and decentralized systems
- Develop and maintain the company's 2026 Technology Vision Roadmap with quarterly refresh cycles
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare for potential technological disruptions and paradigm shifts
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into core architecture and user experience designs
- Present strategic foresight findings to investors, board members, and industry thought leaders
- Manage an innovation incubator program focusing on emerging tech commercialization
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global tech forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futures thinking or innovation strategy roles
- Proven track record of anticipating and commercializing emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Futures Studies, Business Innovation, or related field
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience translating complex trends into executive insights
- Global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., from futurists.org) preferred
- Published work in technology foresight or innovation strategy required
