- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and societal shifts
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product development pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Author thought leadership publications on technological convergence and ethical implications
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proofing methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of 2026 technology forecasts (AGI, climate tech, space economy)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and public speaking experience
- Portfolio of published foresight work or implemented future-oriented strategies
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
