Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) and their market viability by 2026
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and geopolitical shifts
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype futuristic solutions in our Silicon Valley Innovation Lab
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify and acquire disruptive startups
- Monitor global tech policy changes and adapt strategies accordingly
- Coordinate with academic institutions on joint research initiatives
- Author thought leadership papers on the future of human-machine symbiosis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 12+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience advising Fortune 500 CEOs on technology disruption
- Prior work with government tech policy initiatives (e.g., DARPA, NSF)
- Published thought leader in technology forecasting (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
