Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum-resistant cryptography and decentralized AI systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate futuristic tech into enterprise transformation
- Author thought leadership on ethical AI implementation and human-centric design
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets for experimental technology incubation projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching at least two futuristic tech products/services
- Expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or climate-tech innovations
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology preferred
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar-tier journals
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Experience securing DARPA or Horizon 2020 innovation grants
