Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care support including vital sign monitoring and mobility assistance
- Coordinate patient intake and electronic health record documentation
- Assist with medical equipment sterilization and inventory management
- Facilitate patient education materials and discharge planning
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for seamless transitions
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months healthcare or customer service experience
- Basic computer proficiency with EMR systems
- Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Excellent communication skills and empathy-driven approach
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Omaha-area residency required for consistent scheduling
