Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using PMS systems while maintaining accurate records
- Resolve guest inquiries and concerns with prompt, personalized service
- Process payments and manage cash handling procedures
- Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance requests across departments
- Market hotel amenities and local attractions to enhance guest experiences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Assist with event coordination and group bookings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years experience in hotel front desk or customer service role
- Proficiency with Opera PMS or similar property management systems
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment during peak seasons
- Basic knowledge of Virginia Beach tourism attractions and transportation
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
