Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and assembly equipment safely and efficiently according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assemble products and components to meet exact quality specifications and production quotas.
- Inspect finished goods for defects and report any quality issues to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met and workflow remains uninterrupted.
- Perform basic material handling, including loading and unloading trucks or pallets as required.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding attendance, safety, and workplace conduct.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience is accepted.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours) and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for measuring and counting materials accurately.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as business needs dictate.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality assurance.
- No prior manufacturing experience required; full training provided.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Chicago facility.
