Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the long-term technical vision for our 2026 infrastructure goals, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- System Design: Architect scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems capable of handling exabyte-scale data throughput.
- Tech Stack Leadership: Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge technologies, including edge computing, AI infrastructure, and next-gen cloud services.
- Team Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing engineering team to foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Security & Compliance: Oversee the implementation of enterprise-grade security protocols and ensure compliance with evolving data regulations.
- Cost Optimization: Drive initiatives to optimize cloud resource consumption and infrastructure costs without sacrificing performance.
- Vendor Management: Partner with key technology vendors to secure strategic partnerships and cutting-edge solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, cloud engineering, or software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with proven experience designing complex hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust, with experience scripting infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot critical infrastructure issues and make high-stakes architectural decisions under pressure.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent cloud certifications are highly preferred.
