Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the technical roadmap for AI infrastructure, specifically targeting capabilities for the 2026 operational horizon.
- Design and implement high-performance distributed computing systems for large-scale machine learning models.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of AI development, from experimental prototyping to production-grade deployment.
- Establish best practices for MLOps, ensuring model governance, reproducibility, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, and design) to integrate AI seamlessly into user experiences.
- Mentor and coach a high-performing team of AI engineers and data scientists.
- Drive innovation in Generative AI and LLM fine-tuning strategies.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in AI/ML architecture or data science leadership.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and modern data processing frameworks (Spark, Dask).
- Extensive experience deploying systems on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of MLOps tools (Kubeflow, MLflow) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of leading technical teams through complex, ambiguous projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
