Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight strategy, including horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive leadership to prepare for disruptive market shifts
- Architect innovation roadmaps for emerging domains: quantum AI, bio-integrated systems, and decentralized networks
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to pioneer breakthrough technologies
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business plans and product roadmaps
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking methodologies and innovation frameworks
- Present strategic foresight insights to stakeholders, investors, and industry forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future studies at Fortune 500 level
- Proven track record of developing and implementing technology roadmaps with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI ethics, neurotech, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant technical field
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFS, Foresight Practitioner) preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into strategic narratives
- Experience leading global innovation initiatives across multiple industries
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (IEEE, HBR, etc.)
