Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including wound dressing, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient observations and treatment responses in electronic health records
- Assist in patient education regarding health management and discharge planning
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Supervise certified nursing assistants and delegate tasks appropriately
- Participate in emergency response procedures and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Active Nevada LPN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of acute care or hospital experience
- BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
- Strong proficiency in electronic medical documentation systems
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with geriatric or post-surgical patient populations
