Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound dressing, and vital sign monitoring
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Assist with patient education on health management and preventive care
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Supervise certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and delegate tasks appropriately
Qualifications
- Active Florida LPN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of acute care or long-term nursing experience
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience highly valued)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
- Spanish language proficiency (bilingual preferred)
