Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including wound treatment, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring
- Assist with activities of daily living and patient education
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Supervise nursing assistants and coordinate patient care activities
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana LPN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in acute care or long-term setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong proficiency in electronic medical documentation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
