Responsibilities
- Deliver packages safely and efficiently to local residential and commercial addresses within the Detroit metro area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Obtain digital signatures and confirm delivery details with customers in a professional manner.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring items are secure and protected.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Utilize GPS navigation software to optimize routes and meet time deadlines.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 5 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for app-based route management.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
