Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, patient assessments, and prepare patients for examinations
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and maintain sterile environments
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians
- Coordinate patient education materials and discharge instructions
- Handle medical inventory and supply management
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Medical Assistant Certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Basic phlebotomy and ECG certification
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
