Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, injections, and EKGs
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient records using EHR systems
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Administer medications under physician supervision
- Collect and process laboratory specimens
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant diploma or associate's degree
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- 1+ years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, NextGen)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Current BLS/CPR certification
