Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and exam rooms
- Administer injections and perform EKGs per protocols
- Document patient records accurately in EMR systems
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule appointments
- Collect and process lab specimens
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Current California Medical Assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Basic ECG and phlebotomy skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
