Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Take vital signs and prepare medical records
- Perform basic laboratory tests and EKGs
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries
- Maintain clean and organized exam rooms
- Utilize electronic health records systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduated from accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current CPR certification
- Washington State MA certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Basic computer proficiency with EHR systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy
