Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and clinical procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic laboratory tests
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical supplies
- Manage patient records using electronic health systems
- Provide patient education and support for treatment plans
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow
- Administer injections and medications as directed
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification or CMA/RMA
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in healthcare
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Tennessee state license to practice
- Background check and drug screen clearance
