Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during overnight shifts with compassionate attention to individual needs
- Monitor patient vitals and document health status accurately in electronic health records
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless continuity of care and handover procedures
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and respond promptly to emergency situations
- Support patient education and comfort measures throughout the night shift
Qualifications
- Active state certification as CNA, Medical Assistant, or EMT (or equivalent healthcare experience)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to work independently with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Valid CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to remain calm under pressure
- Flexible availability to cover various night shift schedules (10 PM - 6 AM)
