Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies during night shifts
- Assist patients with daily activities including mobility and personal care
- Administer medications accurately and document patient records
- Collaborate with nursing staff to maintain continuity of care
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout overnight hours
- Respond to call lights and prioritize patient needs efficiently
- Maintain clean and organized patient care areas
Qualifications
- Current CNA or EMT certification required
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina for overnight standing and patient assistance
- Flexibility to work variable hours including weekends
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Valid CPR certification
