Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document changes in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, mobility, and feeding
- Perform EKGs and collect lab specimens per physician orders
- Respond to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Transport patients safely within the facility
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Florida driver's license if transporting patients
