Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document accurately in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic lab procedures as ordered
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement patient care plans
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and inventory supplies
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Florida CNA or PCT certification mandatory
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required (must maintain current)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 50+ lbs
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
