Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Load and Unload: Accurately load and unload trailers and delivery trucks, ensuring cargo security and proper organization.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items, verifying counts, and updating stock systems in real-time.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or defects, reporting any issues immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations (OSHA standards) at all times.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with speed and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we provide comprehensive on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse management software quickly.
- License: Forklift certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
