Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Cargo: Safely load and unload trucks utilizing forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring cargo security and proper placement on the dock.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, strictly adhering to quality control standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, assist in stock rotation, and perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Perform routine safety checks on machinery and maintain a clean, organized workspace in full compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for defects and report any quality issues to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Operational Efficiency: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work the night shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods; good physical stamina is essential.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for vehicle operation and material handling.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality, attendance, and a strong work ethic.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
