Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, providing a warm and professional first impression.
- Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and providing detailed product knowledge.
- Process sales transactions quickly and accurately at the register, including cash, credit, and mobile payments.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and customer complaints with patience and efficiency, adhering to company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure store operations run smoothly during peak hours.
- Keep the sales floor stocked with merchandise and ensure signage is up to date.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior customer service experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
- Basic math skills and ability to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings.
- Proficient in using computers and mobile devices for transaction processing.
