Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and store policies.
- Organize merchandise on sales floors and restock inventory to maintain visual appeal.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse customer base.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and stocking.
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with computer systems and POS software is preferred.
