Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to all customers, including assisting with product selection, answering questions, and processing transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring the sales floor is tidy.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, counting stock, and reporting discrepancies.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit, and other forms of payment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and weekly sales targets and operational goals.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security guidelines.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and operating a POS system.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the store schedule.
- High school diploma or equivalent; currently enrolled in high school is acceptable.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
