Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a smile, answering questions about products and services.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Stock shelves and display cases with new merchandise, ensuring the sales floor is organized and visually appealing.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in preparing weekly stock reports.
- Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment in accordance with company health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
