Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring and medication administration
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians during weekend coverage
- Respond to patient emergencies following established protocols
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Coordinate weekend admissions and discharge procedures
Qualifications
- Active CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work 12-hour weekend shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
- Strong Spanish/English bilingual skills (required)
- Electronic health record proficiency (Epic/Meditech)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
