Responsibilities
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.
- Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate medical staff.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the practice's electronic health records.
- Assist patients with insurance verification and billing inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical reception or customer service role is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and electronic health records (EHR).
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- CPR certification is a plus.
