Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Assist patients with daily living activities and mobility
- Accurately document patient information in electronic health records
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Transport patients safely throughout the facility
- Respond to emergency situations with appropriate interventions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or EMT certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Tennessee CNA license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
