Responsibilities
- Lead the Architecture of Project 2026: Design and oversee the implementation of next-generation machine learning models, ensuring scalability and performance for future demands.
- Technical Strategy: Define the technical roadmap for our AI infrastructure, evaluating emerging technologies to ensure Vertex Systems remains years ahead of the curve.
- Model Optimization: Drive research into neural network optimization, reducing latency and increasing throughput for real-time autonomous systems.
- Team Leadership: Mentor senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
- Risk Management: Identify potential security vulnerabilities and ethical risks in AI deployment, implementing robust safeguards and compliance protocols.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for executive leadership and product stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field from a top-tier university.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering and machine learning, with at least 5 years in a lead or architect role.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and distributed computing systems (Kubernetes, Docker).
- System Design: Proven track record of designing large-scale systems that handle high concurrency and massive data throughput.
- Future-Proofing: Demonstrated ability to anticipate technological shifts and integrate them into long-term architectural plans.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and lead without direct authority.
