Job Description
Are you ready to define the landscape of Artificial Intelligence in 2026? Nexus Horizon Systems is seeking a visionary Quantum AI Architect to lead our cutting-edge research into hybrid quantum-classical computing models. We are building the foundational infrastructure for the next generation of machine learning, and we need a pioneer who isn't afraid to explore the uncharted territories of quantum mechanics and neural networks.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical software engineering, designing algorithms that leverage quantum supremacy to solve complex, unsolvable problems. Join us in shaping the future of technology.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect hybrid quantum-classical AI models to solve enterprise-scale optimization problems.
- Lead research initiatives focused on quantum error correction and algorithmic efficiency for 2026 readiness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate quantum modules into existing cloud platforms.
- Prototype and validate quantum algorithms using leading SDKs such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyTorch Quantum.
- Mentor junior developers and researchers in quantum programming best practices and emerging technologies.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in quantum computing and contribute to patent applications and technical whitepapers.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years of direct experience in quantum programming.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and Rust, with a deep understanding of classical machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with quantum simulators and actual quantum hardware (IBM Q, Google Sycamore, Rigetti).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into executable code.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
