Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning frameworks for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-AI hybrid architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences (Nature, NeurIPS, etc.)
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF, DARPA, and industry partners
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive talent development in quantum-AI convergence
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into production-ready solutions for healthcare and logistics sectors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years postdoc experience
- Published 15+ papers in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of securing competitive research grants
- Strong background in deep learning architectures (Transformers, GNNs)
- Experience leading cross-functional R&D teams of 10+ members
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and high-performance computing environments
- Patent portfolio with 3+ granted quantum computing patents
